Editing catch rules

You can easily edit an existing catch rule or delete rules that are no longer needed.

To edit a catch rule:

  1. Find the catch rule that you want to edit as described in Viewing catch rules.
  2. In the catch rule list, click Edit next to the name of the catch rule that you want to edit. The property page of the catch rule appears.
  3. Edit the properties of the catch rule using the descriptions in Creating a catch rule.
  1. Click Save new catch rule. The property page for the catch rule appears. The folder to which the catch rule is applied appears in Target folder.
  2. Test the catch rule by sending an email message to the address specified in the Mail to option. The message should appear in the destination folder.

To delete a catch rule:

  1. Find the catch rule that you want to delete as described in Viewing catch rules.
  2. In the catch rule list, click Delete next to the name of the catch rule that you want to delete. The property page of the catch rule appears to show you the options that will be deleted.
  3. Click Yes, delete rule. The catch rule query page appears and shows the query parameters of the catch rule that was deleted.
